Byron Matthews leads Miller Heiman Group’s commitment to championing customer-management excellence throughout the customer life cycle and across the enterprise. His dedication to placing the customer at the core of everything gives Miller Heiman Group its expanded, holistic approach for developing, managing and sustaining long-term customer relationships. Before joining the organization, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Aflac, where he led more than 30,000 sales professionals across multiple channels. He also spent more than five years at Mercer as Global Sales Performance Business Practice Leader, where he grew revenue more than 40%.

Chief Research Officer of CSO Insights

Barry Trailer is co-founder and Chief Research Officer of CSO Insights, a research and benchmarking firm dedicated to sales effectiveness that is part of Miller Heiman Group. He has more than 30 years of professional selling experience and served as President of both Miller Heiman, a world-renown sales training firm, and Goldmine, a trusted CRM application. Barry conducts dozens of seminars every year with companies around the world, including HP, Sun Microsystems, Oracle and Hitachit Data Systems. Along with Jim Dickie, Barry co-authored The Sales & Marketing Excellence Challenge: Changing How the Game Is Played and have been featured twice in the Harvard Business Review. He’s also a novelist, editor and author of numerous white papers on the sales process.

Mark Grimshaw brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and general management across multiple industry sectors. He’s recruited, built and led teams that have won and managed contracts in excess of $1.6 billion. At Miller Heiman Group, Mark is responsible for ensuring that our products, services, marketing and operations are fully aligned to serve our customers and partners. His experience at global companies like Hewlett-Packard, GlaxoSmithKline and McKinsey & Company gives him a solid foundation to deliver on our promise of customer-centric service.

Tim GeisertTim Geisert

Chief Marketing Officer

Tim Geisert’s experience in leading successful global sales and marketing teams makes him the ideal CMO of Miller Heiman Group. With his unique background and perspective, Geisert will use his know-how to build and shape a brand that helps businesses solve their most pressing challenges as it relates to sales and service. As a sales leader, he consistently exceeded revenue targets through hard work and innovation. While he was vice president at IBM, Geisert established and led a global sales team that targeted C-Suite executives and drove sales lift of $20 million in the first year. He also created the Employment Branding offering at Kenexa, a leading global HR-focused software development company, and oversaw its sales and marketing efforts that resulted in high revenues. Later, as CMO of Kenexa, he launched a rebranding effort that led to double-digit growth and record revenues of nearly $400 million before the company was acquired by IBM. He worked closely with many Fortune 500 companies at Kenexa, helping brands like Ford Motor Company, Whirlpool, IKEA, U.S. Steel and Eli Lily solve their recruitment challenges. Geisert spent the first part of his career as an advertising executive for several national agencies, where he supported the marketing efforts of a wide range of global brands, such as Disney, General Electric and Union Pacific Railroad.

Channel Distribution Officer

Nattalie Hoch is responsible for the health and success of independent distribution channels and sales operations, which includes independent sales consultants, franchises and partners. She also leads recruitment and education efforts for all new and existing sales consultants and distribution partners. Nattalie joined Miller Heiman in 2001 as a sales representative, quickly rising through the company in a series of roles and departments. This global view of the company offered a unique perspective for understanding our clients’ sales challenges, while giving her the foundation for delivering holistic solutions. Nattalie also has more than 20 years of sales and sales leadership experience in industries ranging from hospitality to airlines to technology.

Allen MuellerAllen Mueller

Executive Director, North America

Allen Mueller brings a wealth of knowledge and a history of driving double-digit sales growth to Miller Heiman Group, where she leads the team of sales professionals in North America and is responsible for the management of Strategy Ready and Talent Ready. Mueller’s ability to lay out a strategic plan, infused with data analytics, has enabled her to achieve a consistent record of sustained growth and overachievement during her career. Before joining Miller Heiman Group, she served as the managing director of sales and account management for The Corporate Executive Board (CEB). In this position, she was responsible for sales and renewals across two highly competitive practice areas – Information Technology and Financial Services – and she consistently exceeded her growth targets. Mueller earned CEB’s Member Impact award in 2013, which is given annually by the company’s CEO. She was the head of vertical markets for Blackboard from 1999-2001. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, and resides in Alexandria, Va., with her husband and two daughters.

Richard HiltonRichard Hilton

Managing Director, Miller Heiman Group, EMEA

Richard Hilton has a track record of proven success that drives meaningful growth in the sales performance industry. He has a wealth of rich, complex sales and sales leadership experience running people-oriented businesses within the professional services area. Hilton’s passion for generating results through innovative products and delivery methods, coupled with his consultancy-led approach, will enable customers to drive revenue and create efficiencies in their sales and service functions. Hilton has worked for some of the biggest brands in the industry, including ADP, Mercer and Barclays. Most recently, he served as sales director for Capita Employee Benefits, where he led a team who introduced powerful, technology-based solutions to the market.

Managing Director, Miller Heiman Group, ANZ

Martin Sparkes joined our team in a sales role in 2009 and now leads Miller Heiman Group’s business operations, channel operations and client engagement in Sydney, Australia. Under his leadership, Australia was the first region to integrate the operations of Miller Heiman, Huthwaite and Achieve Global under one roof. Martin has also spent ten years in the IT industry, where he worked for a niche CRM provider in sales, operations and project management. Before that, he started his career in healthcare with Janssen-Cilag in the United Kingdom.

Greg Moore has more than 20 years experience in sales, sales management and business leadership in a number of industries, including banking and finance, healthcare and IT. Before becoming Managing Director for Miller Heiman Group, he served as managing director of Huthwaite Asia-Pacific, where he more than doubled the size of that office in less than three years. He’s a frequent guest lecturer at MBA programs across Asia on topics such as negotiation skills, sales best practices and sales management.
